Home made Brightening Face mask
Unripe Papaya contains naturally high level of papain which is an enzyme that dissolve dead skin cells.
When you apply this mask on your face it stimulates circulation in the face, resulting in a bright, rosy glow.
When left on the mask should tingle slightly; if you have sensitive skin or prefer a gentler exfoliation, use ripe papaya which has less papain
What you will need
- 1/2 cup of unripe papaya (unripe papaya has stronger alpha-hydroxy acids and higher levels of papain – which is an enzyme that can dissolve dead skin cells – than a ripe one)
- 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt (it will make the paste more thick which allows it adhere to your skin a little better)
- 1 teaspoon of honey (The honey acts as a humectant and helps the skin retain moisture)
Apply the mask to clean skin with your fingers using gentle circular motion, avoiding the eye area.
Leave it on and relax for 8 to 10 minutes.
Rinse the mask off using cool water and pat your face dry.
This mask will help brighten up your face and give it a healthy glow.
Try it!
